Hallmark Society member, Doug VanDine, has been working on a long-overdue compilation of the origin of the City of Victoria street names.

Doug and the Hallmark Society are asking for the public’s input on the searchable DRAFT table. If you can provide any further insight or corrections into the origin of these City of Victoria street names, or if you think any streets have been missed, please contact Doug directly at dfvandine@gmail.com. The intent is that the table will be updated from time to time, until, hopefully at some point in the future, we will know the origin of all the street names in the City of Victoria.

This DRAFT table is a portion of the full table. If you wish a copy of the full table, which includes the neighbourhood(s) in which the streets are located, and the previous name(s) of those streets that had previous names, please Doug directly. He can also provide you with a copy of his accompanying text, which includes his methodology, limitations and references.
